About DataReel Open Source

DataReel is an open source project founded in 1999 and active development continued from 1999 through 2017. Active development was reestablished in 2023 to provide support for existing applications and the release of new applications.

We provide application programming interfaces for C/C++ and standalone programs for database and communication applications.

Who Can Use DataReel?

The DataReel APIs and applications are available to commercial, individual, and academic organizations.

Who Can Contribute?

The DataReel project accepts bug fixes, enhancements, and additions from all developers. Source code updates and contributions are managed in our GitHub Repo.
